Adorable 3-Year-Old Dachshund Looking for a Loving Home š¾
Itās with a heavy heart that Iām looking for a new home for my sweet 3-year-old dachshund. Due to my disability, Iām no longer able to meet his needs and give him the time and attention he deserves.
He is a very affectionate, gentle boy who loves cuddles and being close to his person. He does have some separation anxiety and doesnāt cope well with being left alone for long periods, so he would be best suited to a calm homeāideally with an older owner or someone who is around most of the day. Heās nervous with people until he gets to know them, he isnāt very good on a lead ,he barks constantly , but when taken at night and nobody is about heās great. I did pay for some training but unfortunately it didnāt help , he needs time and patience working on his lead.
I take him to an enclosed private field to have his exercise, gets on with my children who are 16 & 14 but unsure what he would be like with younger children.
Hates loud noises , and has a typical temperament of a dachshund with stubbornness meaning he will have the odd accident when itās wet outside.
