Nellie is 18 months old and came to me from the breeder at 12 weeks. She’s a confident, social little dog who loves the company of other dogs—male or female—and will happily approach anyone for play.
Affectionate but independent, Nellie isn’t a lap dog. She prefers to sit beside you or perch on the back of the sofa rather than be held although she will come and sit on your lap to go to sleep. She sleeps quietly through the night on my bed in preference to her own.
She’s non-shedding, fully house-trained, and can be left alone without issue. Her only quirk: if it’s raining, she’ll sometimes try to sneak a wee behind the sofa instead of braving the weather.
Nellie dislikes cats and foxes but enjoys people—on her own terms. Because of her tiny 2.8 kg frame, she’s best suited to a calm home without lots of visitors or young children.
She’s very much a “dog’s dog” and would thrive with a gentle canine companion. Despite her small size, she has no fear, but a large or boisterous dog might overwhelm her.
I’m happy to offer a trial weekend or week to ensure she settles well and will happily take her back if it doesn't work.
