We are looking for a loving home for our 3 year old girl, Perkins. She is spayed, up to date on vaccine boosters and regularly wormed/flead. She is a Bengal x Burmese cross and has some Bengal markings on her sides, as well as lovely smoke fur which is incredibly soft. Perkins is an incredibly friendly cat with the personality of a teddy bear. She will purr about everything, even if you only make eye contact with her! She purrs if you pet her, if you feed her, and if you pick her up. Her nature is very easygoing and she is very happy to be carried around like a baby, have her belly stroked or go to sleep in your lap. Perkins is not timid around new people and loves children. She enjoys a bit of playtime but mostly just likes being around her family and is a really low-maintenance, well behaved cat who just wants to love. She has no temper whatsoever and the most she will do even if I am giving her a worming tablet is mew sadly when I finish. She is not fussy about food and eats both dry and wet, although she prefers wet if she can get it! She also keeps herself very well groomed and clean and, if you let her, will give you a good licking too. Perkins would be equally pleased with an adult household or a family with children: having her people is enough for her! I feel she would be happy as an indoor cat because she has never really wanted to go beyond our garden but she could be outdoor in a quiet area. I would prefer no other pets, but she could live with another cat if they had a calm personality. We have made the really hard decision to rehome her because I feel she is currently not living her best life with us. My other cat takes advantage of her sweet nature to push her around and steal her food and for the last few months she has spent a lot of time hiding up a tree in our garden to stay away from him. She is so sweet and deserves so much more happiness than she is getting.
