Due to a change in my circumstances and Max’s separation anxiety, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to find him a new forever home.
Max is a large, strong dog who will need an experienced owner familiar with handling powerful breeds. He is super friendly with people, absolutely adores affection, and is brilliant with babies and toddlers — he has a wonderfully gentle side and loves being part of family life.
Max thrives on love and attention. He enjoys being around people and would suit someone who is home most of the time or can include him in their daily routine.
He can be reactive towards unfamiliar dogs, so he would be best placed as the only dog in the household. He also has a high prey drive, so a secure garden and strong lead handling are essential. His recall is poor, so he cannot be let off the lead in open areas.
Max is an incredible, loyal companion who will give endless love to the right person. He needs someone confident, patient, and experienced who can give him the structure, exercise, and affection he deserves.
