This request has been on here for months now and so far there hasn’t been a single reply for an adult friend for my little dog. Surely there must be a gentle adult female somewhere needing a super-loving home? My own little boy needs doggy-support to help him overcome an acute anxiety that I think he was born with. He hides behind me as soon as he sees someone walking towards me. I have to cross over or wait for that person to pass. He’s terrified of children and won’t fetch his ball on the beach if he spots another dog. I’ve obviously spoken to an animal behaviourist who feels a permanent friend as in a laid back ADULT female might well be the answer. If you know of such a dog or are seriously thinking of rehoming your dog please will you contact me and ask whatever questions you need to ask? We have a really nice beach nearby and a lovely park around the corner. I do have a cat that lives here as well but it’s a really cosy, loving little home and we all share the sofa! I do hope someone will reply so that Scooby can have a friend to share his walks and his bed so he will eventually begin to enjoy life amongst the human race! He is castrated by the way. Thank you.
