This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.
I’m looking to rehome my beloved cat, Jordi — a bright, affectionate, and curious boy who would truly thrive as the only pet in a calm and loving home.
📍 Location: Manchester, UK
⏰ Age: Around 4 years old (I adopted him when he was just 1 month old)
🍬 Breed: [Domestic Shorthair / Mix]
✅ Neutered, microchipped, and in great health
Jordi had his last full vaccination update and vet check-up in mid-2023. Since then, I have not updated his vaccines, as he is an indoor-only cat who no longer enjoys going outside. The vet confirmed in mid-2023 that he was in excellent health, and he continues to be very healthy to this day.
He is also super clean with no odor at all — you don’t need to bathe him for a year.
🧠💕 Jordi is a very special cat — intelligent, observant, and full of personality. He loves human company, follows you around the house, enjoys interactive play, and always wants to be part of what you’re doing. He thrives on attention and enjoys being mentally stimulated.
That said, after we moved to the UK in September 2023, things started to change between him and one of my female cats. Tensions slowly escalated, and despite my best efforts — including behavior training, environmental adjustments, calming tools, and even a careful three-month reintroduction process — things did not improve.
My female cat now lives in fear, often hiding or avoiding Jordi altogether. It breaks my heart to see her like this, and I can’t let either of them live in this kind of stress any longer.
Jordi isn’t a “bad” cat — he’s just not suited to living with other pets. What he truly needs is a quiet, stable, pet-free home 🏡🌿 where he can feel secure and be his best self. I know that in the right environment, he will be an incredible, loyal companion.

I’m not asking for money, because I don’t feel right “selling” him. Jordi isn’t a thing — he’s a living soul who deserves a home that truly loves and understands him. That’s what matters most to me. ❤️
