Description
This is Bruno. He is the absolute love of our life but unfortunately, we are unable to keep him any longer due to a change in circumstances. We have had Bruno since he was 9 months old and he settled into our little family wonderfully. Unfortunately, we are having to give him up due to a large change in our circumstances and we no longer have the time or mobility to correctly continue his training and give him the love and exercise he needs.
Bruno can sit, give paw, touch and is currently working on come and swap. He sleeps in bed with us, but likes having a crate for his own space. He is loving, cuddly and absolutely loves giving kisses.
Bruno needs to go to an experienced home, preferably not with children. He does have his issues, we want to be honest about that. He is a resource guarder but this has gotten much better while he's been with us - he just needs slow, consistent training with someone who understands him. He has been struggling with potty training but this has also improved. He needs to go out in the morning as soon as he gets out of bed or he may have an accident but if you have the ability to give him unrestricted access to a back garden, this is never an issue. We don't have a back garden as we have had to move but when he spends time at his grandad's he loves running around the garden, chasing the hose and playing with his grandad's old dog Tia.
We have noticed he seems to be very scared of children and we are concerned that he had a bad experience with the children he lived with before us so a childless home, at least while he is settling in and continuing his training, would be perfect.
We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Bruno but we truly think it is the best thing for him to go to a loving home with people that can give him all of the time and attention he so desperately needs.
Happy to answer any and all questions.
He will come with a couple of collars, harnesses, leads, blankets. A hell of a lot of toys and 2 bags of his pure food. He likes that mixed with a scoop of kibble in the morning and afternoon.
We will give full access to his vet records. When we took him in, he was fully vaccinated, however, we have been unable to obtain the records from his previous vets. We have him on a full worm and flea regime and he has had full head to toe vet checks showing he is all good. He is in tact and microchipped.
Happy to do a meet at a local park. We live close to a large park and also a closed off dog park.
Due to my diagnosis and change in our living and working situations, we have had to make this decision.
