Looking for a Loving New Home for Our Gentle Giant šš¾
With great regret (and a few tears, letās be honest), weāre having to rehome our beloved Neapolitan mastiff- The General. Heās a stunning lad, around 3Ā½ years old, and truly lives up to his name: big, loyal, and in charge of every sofa heās ever met.
This decision isnāt due to any fault of his own. Sadly, both my partner and I are now working long hours, and we simply canāt give The General the time and attention he deserves- and boy, does he deserve it.
Heās a cracking dog- well-trained, great both on and off the lead, and with recall that would make a spaniel jealous (most of the timeā¦ he is a mastiff, after all). He gets along brilliantly with most dogs and cats, though being an intact male, he can sometimes get a bit too competitive with other big lads of the same persuasion.
Heās as good as gold when left alone, and heās been our constant companion everywhere cafĆ©s, restaurants, shops you name it, heās behaved better than most customers.
It truly breaks our hearts to let him go, but the last thing we want is to undo all the love, training, and effort weāve poured into him. He deserves a family who can give him all the time and attention in the world.
If youāre looking for a loving, loyal, and occasionally stubborn (but always charming) addition to your family, The General could be your man. Heās fantastic with kids of all ages and has so much love to give.
