Really tough decision, but due to personal circumstances I am going to have to rehome my little Dottie.
At home she is an absolute sweetie, as you can see from the photos she just loves to love and loves being loved. She is very much a 1:1 dog. So ideally would suit a single person, a couple or family with older children. Not advised to have young children due to her snappy temperament.
She is very protective, as advised by our vets as she can be very yappy around strangers and young children whom she doesn’t know. She definitely warns them not to come too close and will snap. Very reactive to any sounds around the house, especially when our neighbours are in their garden, she always makes sure to tap away at them.
She isn’t a fan of going to the vets for her vaccinations and needs to be muzzled. Plus she isn’t a fan of the groomers as she gets very anxious, so I do my best in grooming her. Shes a lively one when out and about walking with good recall but I tend to keep her on the lead most of the time.
She is upto date with all her vaccinations and treatment.
Overall she is a lovely lovely dog, with a needy quirky personality.
Please only respond if you are prepared to take her on. We got her at 8 weeks old, during lock down so I think the lack of socialising contributes to some of her quirkiness.
