Gracie's tail is always wagging, she is so sweet natured! She is currently in CB6- Ely.
Gracie was adopted but after two weeks, the family decided it wasn't working out as Gracie was struggling with the infrequency of family members who weren't home a lot- we can discuss this in detail with any potential adopters.
Gracie loovvesss her food and is one of the most trainable dogs at 2nd Chance. Although she loves her food, she's not rude at all and just wants to please. She mastered loose lead walking in one walk! She wears a harness and walks beautifully on lead. Even when walked on a long line, her preference is to stick with her people, she is very loving and makes everyone smile.
She loves to be with her people, all you have to do is say her name and she's worming over to you with loving eyes and a very waggy tail! But in the home she was in for 2 weeks, found it worrying with people visiting, such as one family member who worked long days and was only around in the evenings.
Gracie is great in the car, great with strangers, but does find children scary so has barked and run away from them before. Gracie will need plenty of time to settle into a new home without visitors and with a stable routine.
She is a people- dog through and through and although she has no problem being around other dogs, she want's nothing from them and will ignore them, and always has all eyes on her handler. She doesn't appreciate dogs in her face and can snap.
Gracie would love a home where she can get plenty of love and interaction and preferably someone who wants to do training with her, not because she needs it, but because she is so smart and enjoys training so much!
