FOR ADOPTION - ROXY -
SOUTHAMPTON
Roxy is a gorgeous 4.5 year old girl who is originally from Bosnia.
She is a really slinky dog and is about 3 times as long as she is high.. she is 17kg. Because of this, Roxy finds stairs and steps too much for her, she will not be able to jump onto sofas, beds etc., unless they are low, in which case, she loves nothing more than spreading out beside you for a belly tickle.
She would be best suited to single storey living with access directly onto a garden.
She travels well in a car and lies along the rear footwell, secured with a car harness.
She loves her walks and playtime with her friends in an enclosed field. She really likes to sniff everything thoroughly as she is a scent hound.
She is not tolerant of cats and would chase them.
She has no health conditions and has a blood test to confirm she does not have Brucellosis canis.
Roxy has lived in her current home as an only pet for 2 and 1/2 years however unfortunately her owners health has gotten worse, and she can not look after Roxy anymore.
Roxy is house trained, fine to be left alone for a few hours. Sleeps well in a bed on the floor.
Roxy does have a little bit of food aggression at times, so if she lived with another dog, she must be fed separately. She loves everybody she meets, plays really well with other dogs, and is great with children. She would be happy as an only dog, but equally would be happy to have a canine companion.
Roxy likes to sunbathe in the garden and will track the sun around.
