Are you looking for a top dog? Here it is! I am selling this lovely female Border Collie.
If you fancy training a dog for agility this is the one! She is sporty and quick but also calm enough to pay attention, very clever and super eager to learn, to work and to please. Usually it's enough to show her tricks just once or twice and she gets it. So if you fancy pursuing agility she would be a most rewarding dog to train, for beginners or professionals.
But she is also the perfect companion if you are looking for something more easygoing. She loves long walks which will always be very relaxed on your part because she has very good recall and is always safe off the lead (obviously be careful close to roads). She loves to chase a ball and is always friendly with other dogs and when she is focused on her ball she even ignores them completely (even the yappy and agressive ones).
She is also well behaved in the house and the garden and is used to being inside and outside (with us she can chose and usually opts for 50/50 garden and house). When I am at work she is on her own for several hours and she waits patiently and keeps quiet. At night she happily sleeps in her dog bed and does not wander through the house.
She is good with children, but I would recommend a more calm household, because even though she is an active, sporty dog she generally has a very calm temperament and tries to avoid too much mayham. I am sure she would love more cuddles than I have the time to give her and I am sure you could turn her into a couch potatoe in no time. The only thing she is really scared of are fireworks but it's heartwarming to see how she seeks human love for reassurance.
She travels well in a car and she has an EU Pet passport with a valid rabies vaccination which is perfect if you happen to have a holiday home abroad or if you like to travel with a camper van. Just keep the rabies vaccination up to date every three years and she won't lose the EU passport.
She has no special diatary requirements and no health issues. She has been spade, chipped and is up to date with all her vaccinations and worm+flea treatments.
All in all she is an absolutly perfect dog with no behavioral issues (apart from being a 100% Border Collie). Because my circumstances have changed I can't do her justice anymore.
