We are looking for a forever home for our beautiful retired Maine Coon queen, Asha. She is a large, extra-long, smoky black Maine Coon with the gentle, majestic look that the breed is known for.
Asha came to us from a breeder after sadly becoming very unwell following her neutering (due to an infection). With time, care, and treatment (costing us over £1,000), she has fully recovered, regained weight, and is once again a healthy, happy girl.
Our hope was to keep her as part of our family forever. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, Asha cannot accept our other cats. She is very loving with people but becomes extremely stressed and aggressive around other cats. As we already have three (two of them Maine Coons), this has created a very difficult situation for everyone. After much thought, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find Asha a new, loving home where she will be the only pet.
Asha will come with everything she needs to settle in comfortably – food to start with, her litter tray and litter, bowls, and more. We are asking for a small adoption fee, not to recover costs, but to ensure she goes to a serious, committed, and loving home where she won’t be resold.
