This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, so please read with understanding.
Daphne is a gorgeous, pure white 18 month old cat with a sweet, funny personality and so much love to give. She’s affectionate, social, full of energy, and adores human company. She’s always up for a cuddle or a play session, and she makes her people laugh daily with her curious little quirks. Daphne is very well mannered, clean, quiet (except to mew back at you when you talk to her!!). She doesn't scratch furniture or keep you up at night.
Sadly, Daphne doesn’t get along with our older cat, and it’s become clear that she needs to be the only pet in a home. My other cat, Trixie, is now struggling both emotionally and physically, and after exhausting every option, I have no choice but to find Daphne the peaceful, loving home she deserves. I have tried everything you could imagine over the last 3 months to try and save my little cat family, but Daphnes Vet agrees. It's only fair to both cats if you find Daphne a new home where she can live her best life.
Daphne would thrive in a home with:
No other pets – she needs to be the only animal so she can be relaxed and happy.
Older children or teenagers – she loves to play and has lots of kitten energy still. She may be 18 months but she still acts like a well behaved 6 month old!!
People who are around a fair bit – she’s very human-focused and loves attention.
She has been strictly indoor kitties. I live on the 2nd floor so Daphne only sees outside during vet visits. She loves her window perches, where she adores sunrises, right before the birds wake up. You'll find Daphne on her perch!!
She:
Has no food issues ; loves both wet and dry food and especially freeze-dried treats. Eats twice a day with treat breaks.
Enjoys toys, climbing, cardboard scratchers, exploring, and basically life in general! She fetches her favourite plastic fly toys, over and over like a little puppy! No matter how many beds, cat trees, hammocks or interactive toys you give her, she still prefers the sofa next to her favourite Humans.
She has up-to-date vet records, was spayed at 6 months, and is fully vaccinated (next due June 2026). I have her vaccination card to show you. She is registered with Longwater Pets4vets in the Pets at Home & I can arrange for all her medical records to be sent to your preferred vet.
She is currently insured with Many Pets, and I can arrange for the policy to be forwarded if helpful. She doesn't have pre existing conditions, she passed her last check up in July 25 with flying colours. In fact at the vet she is so calm!! Scared, but calm.
This is not a decision made lightly. Daphne is loved deeply. I only ask that her new family is kind, responsible, and willing to maintain pet insurance, because I need to know she’ll always be cared for -no matter what. I'll be happy to provide a months worth of her subscription food, Fuzzball. All her freeze dried treats that she likes, Quail, Quail egg, Capelin fish, duck, chicken and cod cubes. ProDen Plaque off to help her teeth stay healthy. Daphne keeps her nails short , if she has plenty of cardboard scratchers and posts. I'll also provide her favourite toys, carrier and her Zeolite litter& pads. So she can ease into a new routine easily. Daphne has been on a grain free diet. She loves her dry food and wet food is also a must. I'll provide her water fountain. Of course this is if you want some of her things. It might help her settle in and you can change as you please.
She’s a beautiful soul and deserves the best start in a new chapter. Please, serious enquiries only. I'm very upset all the time at the moment about losing her. She is desperate to be the only Queen though. It's only fair on her and Trixie.
