Meet Luna and Alfie – a devoted brother–sister duo who balance each other beautifully. These two share a strong bond, with Luna relying on her big brother’s calm presence to help her feel safe and secure. He even encourages her to explore and will protect her when she feels threatened!
Alfie (8 year old male) is the definition of an old soul. Placid, friendly, and endlessly affectionate, he’ll greet you at the door like an old friend, flop on the couch for pets, or politely demand morning attention with a cheeky elbow nibble (the best alarm clock you’ll ever own). He adores bum scratches, catnip, and a good crinkle ball chase, but his favourite pastime might just be sitting happily beside you.
Luna (7 year old female) is a gentle soul who needs her own space. She thrives when she has a quiet “safe room” or a cosy spot to tuck herself away – think of it as her little panic room. Once she feels secure, she’ll emerge, often at night, for pets and attention on her own terms. She loves basking in sunbeams and, when she’s feeling playful, a fishing rod toy will tempt her out for a swat or two. With patience and understanding, Luna’s affectionate side really shines.
Together, they’re the perfect balance: Alfie’s steady, confident nature helps Luna feel safe, and she trusts him to check that the world is okay before she ventures out. They’re close companions, often keeping tabs on each other, and Alfie has even shown his protective side when Luna was nervous around a dog.
These two are well-adjusted to family life – they’ve lived with children (even little ones) and a medium-sized dog, and while Luna is shy with strangers, Alfie’s easy-going charm wins everyone over. They’re indoor/outdoor cats, though Luna prefers staying close to home while Alfie enjoys a grassy nibble in the garden during summer.
