Here is Richmond (also answers to Sausage!) our 4 year old sausage dog looking for a new home. He has been raised as our family pet with children varying from newborn age - teenage. He’s your typical lazy sausage and will sleep on the sofa all day given the chance. As long as he’s fed and has human company he is content. He won’t pester for a walk, he’d much rather sleep! That being said, he will also hike mountains!! He’s adaptable- he’s travelled all over in our campervan with us.
He is extremely loyal, loving and (annoyingly) protective. In the sense that he isn’t particularly friendly to strangers until he has formed a bond with you & understands the stranger is accepted by his humans. He does bark (a lot!!) which is a given with this breed. Do your research!!!
Circumstances have changed & he is looking for a new forever home. Regular visits would be needed and a bond to be formed before rehoming.
He has been spayed. He does have ‘allergies’ and gets dry scaley skin on his chest / under his armpits if not managed correctly - daily medication on a repeat prescription keeps this ok.
Richmond is crate trained and sleeps downstairs in his special Richmond house when left home alone and durning the nights. His house will go with him to his new home.
