Description

A gorgeous littler of wire haired Dachshund Tweenies. Mum is a KC reg standard wire haired Dachshund and dad is a KC reg miniature Dachshund. PRA and Lafora clear. Raised in a home environment with plenty of other dogs around. We require our owners to either be former or current dog owners - even better is Dachshund knowledge or experience. If not then we would hope prospective owners would have done their research on the breed as these are a quirky lot! Dachshunds are stubborn and can be very trying but ultimately are incredibly rewarding super loving hilarious and loyal Velcro dogs. Retired or working from home most of the time is a must, plus a garden or courtyard and prepared to put the time in there are no better dogs. We are so happy to answer any questions regarding our lovely pups, the way they are raised and the life our dogs lead. We are happy to do video calls for long distance enquires. It is extremely important to us where our beautiful pups end up so no question is too much, too silly or not worth asking. Please note they were born on the 6th June, I accidentally put wrong date and can’t edit it.

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
