With a heavy heart, we are looking for a new home for our Siberian Husky, Nico. This is not an easy decision for us, but due to our newborn baby and his behavior towards the infant, we can no longer keep him. We want to find the right person who understands his needs and can offer him a safe and stable home.
What Nico Needs
• A calm home with no small children
• No other pets (no dogs, no cats, no other animals)
• An owner with experience in demanding breeds
• Someone able to provide a lot of exercise and stimulation
• A home with few visitors, as he fears strangers and needs time to trust

🐕 About Nico
• Intelligent, energetic, and very loyal
• Bonds strongly with one owner and becomes deeply attached
• Extremely faithful and obedient to his person, but also very protective
• May react aggressively if he feels someone is a threat to his owner
• Could potentially hurt unfamiliar people; never harmed household members
• Fine with older children (he’s always been okay with my 9-year-old), but not suitable for homes with babies or toddlers
• Needs patience, time, structure, and understanding
Before Rehoming – Required Meetings
Before we give Nico to a new home, we will need to arrange several meet-ups so he can slowly get to know the new owner and feel safe. This is to avoid stress and fear on his side.
For safety reasons during the first meetings, a muzzle will be necessary — this is not to punish him, but to protect everyone and help build trust in a controlled way
We love Nico very much, and we will not give him away to just anyone. The new owner must meet the requirements and truly understand his needs. We are looking for someone who will love him as much as we do — someone who will give him a home where he feels safe, respected, and cared for. He deserves that.
❗Why We Are Rehoming Him
We recently had a baby, and Nico does not accept the infant. He has shown signs of aggression toward the baby, and we cannot risk our child’s safety. This is the only reason for rehoming him — a decision made with pain, but also responsibility.
