This is Keiko, I got him around a year ago. He has been hand reared and is super tame. All he wants to do is spend time with you, play and wrestle with your fingers!
I currently have a 14yr old conure and unfortunately their temperaments do not match. Keiko is very out going and playful whereas Kirby is very laid back and this has led to many fights between them.
It breaks my heart that I am no longer able to keep Keiko due to this. It is not fair only having one of them out at a time as this stresses the other out.
Keiko must go to a family who have a lot of time for him and the ability to spend the time with him he requires. He is still a baby in bird age and has lots of energy! Being a baby, he can be nippy (But this is very common in baby conures and we are working on getting through this stage currently)
He is super smart and has learned a few tricks.
I have the birth certificate for Keiko and DNA certificate.
He would make a great addition to a family as he is not a one person bird, he loves everyone!
I do not recommend that Keiko goes with someone who has other birds as he does not understand boundaries with birds (or personal space) and this leads to fights.
I will not give Keiko to anyone who does not have any experience with owning birds as his life should not be being shut in a cage for most of his life.
