Twiggy is a 2–3-year-old, very small Kokoni-type girl with her striking tiger-coloured silky coat and her sunny nature. She arrived in the UK in August to what was meant to be her home, but sadly the trial wasn’t successful as she didn’t get along well enough with the resident, much smaller older dog.
Now she is at foster and this is what her foster says:
"Sweet little Twiggy is full of love to give along with being the perfect mix of snuggle buddy and independent sass (she has the best side eye I’ve ever seen). She’s searching be the only Queen to rule over her domain and a forever lap to curl up on so she can soak up and have all that love and affection to herself. She is the ideal companion that loves to be by your side although she happily sleeps by herself curled up in her bed in the kitchen (pretty sure she’d love to curl up on the end of your bed more though!) and can be left for a few hours without any issues. Twiggy is still nervous at new people the noises and hustle and bustle of the outside world but is making brave and fantastic steps forwards. "

💔 Rescue Story 💔
Twiggy’s beginnings were as heartbreaking as they were unfair. Abandoned at a small village bus stop, she waited faithfully day after day for people who never came back. Rescuers brought her to safety, and despite everything, Twiggy’s tail never stopped wagging. She blossomed in foster care abroad, and now, here in the UK, she is showing just how adaptable and brave she can be.

Her foster says:
👉 “Twiggy is a lovely and friendly girl who loves affection from humans. She always greets you with a wagging tail. She plays well with other dogs and loves to steal slippers in the most endearing way. She’s also a bit of a couch potato who loves to curl up and nap at your feet while you work or watch the telly.
She can be a little fearful on short walks, but she’s very brave and will happily follow other dogs or humans. With patience and encouragement, she’ll soon build her confidence and enjoy longer adventures.
Although she does play well with dogs, she has shown some guarding behaviours – particularly around her bed and over her humans. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in her new home.
Twiggy absolutely loves her treats and even smiles with her little teeth when she’s praised. She has shown how adaptable she is, quickly revealing her quirky, bubbly personality here in the UK. She’s brave, loyal, and will make someone very happy with her warm and welcoming ways.”
