Hello, here we have our beautiful Chihuahua Bagel. She is 3 years old, with her birthday being in November.
We did list Bagel in May, however this is something I found very difficult to accept and we have since tried to make it work with my new working hours. However she is just being left alone too much and it’s not fair on her at all.
We have had Bagel for just over a year, however due to an unavoidable change in our family dynamic, we will need to look for a new home for our baby.
Bagel is a gorgeous little girl with a huge character. She weighs approximately 3.5kg and is spayed. She is great with children of all ages however I would prefer her to go to a home with older children, she is cat friendly and likes other friendly dogs. She would thrive in a home with other chihuahuas.
I am in no rush to rehome her, as she will need to go to a very good home and someone who is at home a lot, ideally retired / working from home etc.
I personally think she would enjoy a home with an older family, she adores our two children aged 3 and 5, but she does really enjoy a quieter lifestyle.
She absolutely adores her cuddles, playing and treats. She is very much a lap dog, she is very clingy. Bagel can be left at home for a few hours per day, she is not a destructive dog. She is extremely gentle, and just a beautiful little soul.
She sleeps in our bed, though she does have her own and if told, she will sleep in it. We call her ‘bed bug’ because if she could, I think she’d spend all day every day in our bed.
She uses puppy pads indoors, if you leave your garden door open she will go to the toilet outside.
She eats bakers small dog dried food, but has a breakfast and dinner of ham / chicken each day. We have tried her with wet dog foods, however she isn’t interested and I don’t think these particularly agree with her.
