It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have made the decision to rehome our adopted dog Bella.
Bella is the most beautiful, kind and caring dog with so much love to give however due to a unforeseen change in my work requirements and sons additional needs that have come to light - we don’t not have the time Bella so rightfully deserves.
Bella was adopted by us in February 2025 at 4 years old - we have a son with adhd so we wanted an older dog and one that had lived with young children. Bella had come from a family of a child with additional needs so it seemed like the perfect match. When Bella was rehomed to us, there was no disclosure of any health or behavioural issues however this has unfairly proven not to be accurate.
Currently Bella cannot be left alone without supervision, she becomes incredibly anxious and will physically try to escape either through breaking through a crate or biting at doors.
Bella is very much a Velcro dog and will follow me everywhere I go (even the toilet).
This being said, Bella is incredibly trainable, she has fantastic recall, heel and is sociable and friendly with any dog or cat she meets. Other than being left alone, Bella is quite honestly the perfect dog. I wish we had the time, finances or facilities to help Bella with this but unfortunately we do not.
As this decision has been so difficult we want to make sure that Bella is rehomed to someone that can offer her a lap dog lifestyle with love and care in abundance. Please feel free to contact with me any additional questions.
