I’m looking for a new home for my lovely female lovebird, raised by me from a young age. She’s hand-reared, fully tame, and has such a cheeky little personality. She flies freely around the house, sits on your head or shoulder, and comes to your hand or finger without hesitation. She’s super curious, not shy at all, and loves interaction just doesn’t like being held or confined too much.
‼️Please read this part carefully‼️:
I recently rehomed her parents to someone in Doncaster under the agreement that they’d keep in touch and send me updates. Within three months, the person disappeared, changed address, and I later found out through her neighbours that she had fed them to her snakes. That experience was devastating and has made me extremely cautious about who I let take her. Because of that, I’m not giving her away for free there will be a rehoming fee to ensure she goes to someone serious and committed.
I’ll only let her go under the condition that:
You agree to send me weekly or monthly updates
I’m allowed to visit her every 3–4 months to check on her wellbeing
Her health, happiness, and safety come first she’s not just a bird, she’s family.
I’m heartbroken to let her go, but I haven’t been able to find a tame male partner for her, and with life getting busier, I feel she deserves more time and attention than I can give right now.
I’m looking for someone kind, patient, and ideally experienced with birds someone who’ll let her fly, play, and be her quirky little self.
