Description
We are looking for a very special forever home for our nearly 3-year-old Dachshund. We have only had him for four months, but due to his high anxiety and specific needs, we feel he deserves a home that can provide more time and consistency than we currently can.
He is a truly amazing little dog who thrives on cuddles and walks. He is fantastic with other dogs and loves children. However, due to an uncertain past before he came to us, he is very fearful of men. He requires a quiet household with someone who is home most of the day and has the patience to help him build confidence at his own pace.
Details:
• Age: Nearly 3 years
• Temperament: Loving, cuddly, great with dogs/kids, anxious around men.
• Health: Microchipped and KC Registered (Note: New owner will need to apply for duplicate papers online as we do not have the physical copies).
• Requirements: A patient home, preferably with someone experienced in nervous dogs.
