***One beautiful 10 week old female pup available*** I was holding her back to keep for showing, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I have decided to let her go. Both parents are my much loved family pets, here to be seen. Both RKC registered standard Wirehaired Dachshunds, fully health tested, and both with excellent temperaments. Mynah is 3 years old, and this is her first litter. She is the sweetest girl and a joy to live with. Sire is my beautiful boy, Snail, he is 2 and a half years old, and has been doing very well in the show ring, currently he has 2 Reserve CC's and many class wins, with one Best of breed. I have his mother, grandmother and great grandmother here to meet too. Pups will be raised in the home, with plenty of socialisation to ensure well rounded characters. Pups will KC registered, wormed, microchiped, and come with an extensive puppy pack, a supply of their food, toys and blanket. Pups are due mid May, currently taking enquiries for one of these babies, for their 5* forever homes.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
