Description

Honest ad as we are very sad to do this. Frankie is 6 year old and we have had him since he was 7 month old. Frankie is a VERY loving, attention loving and loyal dog, he does however have a few behavioural issues that don't seem to be getting better as he isn't coping in our busy household. Frankie is scared of lots of things, mostly loud bangs, he has always been scared of fireworks, even on the tv and generally scared of loud traffic, roadworks, loud exhaust etc, he will freeze, shake and refuse to walk so needs to live somewhere quiet and near a field or woods etc. He has developed resource guarding, where he will go for anyone or anything who tries to take something he wants, not all the time but often, this can often be remedied if you give him time to think about it eventually he will drop or give him something better he will drop, unfortunately my other dogs dont understand this so will try to grab things. He has 'gone' for my other dogs at times but never injured its just noise. Most of his behaviours are out of fear and seem to be getting worse and I dont think my house with kids and other dogs/cats is helping him. He is fine on walks if not too much going on, he is fine off lead around other dogs, will come back, loves to play fetch! He is fine to be left for short periods, he is generally good with other animals, we have horses and chickens and is fine with them. He has always been fine with our cat until recently when he has a couple of times tried to tell him off, again not injured, more verbal but enough to scare our cat! He will only go to the best of homes and he needs to go to * pet free home * child free home * someone with time for long walks and not in a busy area I want this for him as I feel he would be much happier with full attention as he no longer likes to share attention and his behaviour would improve massively.
