I am exploring whether i can find a home more suited to her, having gone on holiday and discovered that is a calmer happier dog in a child- free, calm house hold. I would be looking for a transitional handover, I'm not just giving her up, I'm also not looking for any money, but must put a price to place the advert.
She is a wonderful dog, but having lost her life partner a year ago she has struggled. She was always his dog, not ours, if that makes sense. Without his leadership she has floundered. She's happier at Grandma's house than ours where it is calmer and quieter, but she too big for them to take on properly.
She's a very well trained, wonderful dog but needs an adult only home, where she's the only dog , so she can be doted on... the centre of someone's world.
There are no problems with her behaviour, she is obviously big so needs a home with space and experienced owners to maintain her training. She is double coated so needs a lot of brushing at times. She does like to hunt for squirrels, abs will bark at them on the garden fence.
As I said before I would be looking to spend time with any possible new owners to build a relationship prior to transfer of care.
