Newmiller Retrievers – Upcoming Litter Announcement
We are delighted to share details of Newmiller Retrievers’ upcoming litter. Puppies are expected between 29th November and 1st December and will be ready to leave for their new homes between 24th and 26th January.
The Parents
The Father – Falkur
After years of searching for the perfect addition to our programme, we finally found Falkur, our Newmiller Retrievers stud — an exceptional Traditional Old English Cream Golden Retriever imported from Moldova.
He is one of the lightest creams we have ever seen, with a long, smooth coat and an impressive, traditional build. A huge, powerful dog with a broad, classic head and beautifully balanced movement, he represents the old-fashioned English type we treasure.
His health testing exceeds Kennel Club recommendations in every respect, including excellent hip and elbow scores, clear eyes and heart certification, and full DNA clearance.
Falkur’s temperament is truly outstanding. He is soft, gentle, affectionate, playful and wonderfully kind with our children. Before joining us, he produced several exceptional litters in Moldova known for their quality, soundness and calm, loving temperaments. He is titled as a Junior Champion, Senior Champion, Best in Breed and Best in Show, with a pedigree filled with generations of champions. He will begin his UK show career in 2026 and complete his Kennel Club Good Citizen Award.
He represents everything we aim for in our breeding: health, type, temperament and exceptional lineage.
The Mother – Pearl
Pearl is a wonderful, happy girl who has been with us since she was a puppy. English-bred and deeply cherished, she is a much-loved part of our family and extremely kind and gentle with our children. This will be her second and final litter.
She is a big, beautifully built light cream girl with a lovely feminine face and striking dark eyes. Pearl has proven to be an exceptional producer for our programme; her puppies are consistently large, well-structured and beautifully tempered. Two puppies from her previous litter are now training as support dogs for special-needs children, reflecting the intuitive and gentle nature she passes on.
Pearl is a devoted, affectionate mother who truly adores her puppies. She is fully health tested, DNA clear in all areas, with strong, low-risk BVA scores. Her pedigree is a traditional UK show-line background, giving her puppies excellent type and classic English Cream retriever qualities.
How Our Puppies Are Raised
Our puppies are raised in the centre of our busy family home, surrounded by our five daughters and all the sights and sounds of daily life. From birth, they begin our structured early socialisation programme, including gentle handling, sensory desensitisation, early grooming, age-appropriate enrichment and the foundations of toilet training.
This results in confident, well-adjusted puppies who settle beautifully into family homes.
Matching Puppies to Families
We carefully assess each puppy’s developing personality to ensure they are perfectly matched to the right family and lifestyle. We take great pride in helping our puppies find homes where they will truly thrive.
Our Standards
We are fully licensed, council approved and committed to responsible, ethical breeding. All puppies are Kennel Club registered and endorsed for breeding and export to safeguard their welfare and protect our lines.
We provide lifetime support to every Newmiller Retriever family.
International Families
We do export our very special puppies worldwide under our strict placement requirements, and international enquiries are warmly welcomed.
If you would like further information about this litter, or if you would like to be considered for our waiting list, please feel welcome to get in touch. We are always happy to discuss our breeding programme, our dogs and how we raise our puppies, as well as what to expect when welcoming a Newmiller Retriever into your home.
We place great importance on getting to know our families and understanding the home they will be offering. Ensuring the right match is an essential part of our process, and we take the time to speak with all prospective owners to make sure our puppies are placed only in the most suitable, loving environments.
Early enquiries are recommended, as our litters are usually reserved quickly. We are very happy to answer any questions, provide additional photos or videos and arrange a call to ensure that this litter is the right fit for you and that you are the right family for one of our puppies.
