Description

2 beautiful girls, very bonded. £225 for both as a pair Must go together Please read full write up below before enquiring (I’ve estimated the date they can leave as it’ll depend on how their weaning etc goes. I believe they will be long haired going by experience but it may be a couple more weeks to be sure) I will draw up a contract that states if anything goes wrong they must come back to me, even in the future. All of these cats I am advertising were saved as kittens from a very bad situation and I’ve kept them safe and loved. Or I paid to save the pregnant Mum from the drug related situation and assisted them all to avoid them coming to harm or being used for breeding over and over. (Some I am advertising are over 6 months) Unfortunately the bad situation locally continues to evolve but it has got to a point where I just cannot do anymore than I already have. RSPCA have said they’re unable to intervene as “it’s not illegal to breed” but these animals were being bred over and over and interbred at times hence why I tried my best to put a stop to it I can elaborate on the situation privately. Unfortunately it has all got a little too much for me as I’m ploughing through £35 a day to feed them all ( including my own pets) I would like to home check even via FaceTime and would like to be updated on their progress They are great with children, dogs and cats I would ask that they not go with young children who cannot respect their space and or may use them as toys etc I hope this is understandable Ideally I would like them all to go in pairs as they’re all very close I feel for them to be a single pet might be stressful for them, therefore if you have another cat that will accept a newcomer, a dog that will not harm or chase, then that would also work well. These 2 girls were the only 2 so must stay together They do not wear collars but should you choose to, please , please ensure it’s a quick release collar not a buckle. Sadly I’ve witnessed numerous cats pass away from hanging on buckle collars. It may be a lot to ask but I adore them and am heartbroken to see them move on, however for my financial and mental well-being it is for the best. Also for them as although someone is always around, they deserve more 1:1 time. A malicious person reported me to the RSPCA ( I reported them initially so it was just getting silly) However I have proof from the pre planned visit to say there are absolutely no issues here welfare wise which I’m happy to share. I am also working alongside a local rescue to rehome some of the others just to help me out. I have 4 young children, 2 with medical conditions/disabilities so I feel I have done my very best to keep the cats safe from harm and now it’s very sadly time they find a forever haven where they’ll be cared for and loved. Not near busy roads would be preferable please and no flats if the advert is for an older cat as they’ve been used to going outdoors in a catio and I can’t bear to risk them jumping off a balcony. They’ll also need access to a cat flap which I know the majority of flats unless ground floor will have. A catio would be amazing They must not be let out for a few weeks as they get to know their surroundings. Whereas I am not a rescue so can’t enforce this, I would like to plead they are not used for breeding. I shall provide dates of last flea and worming treatment I will also write up their feeding details and at night they always have a mix of bedtime treats (or they will if they’re not weaned properly yet) Of course I cannot force a new owner to continue this but I shall provide some for the first few days to try and alleviate added stress to them. As mentioned, I would like updates on their progress for the first initial period of time and any issues even if it's month down the line that they are returned to myself not passed around. If you have a holiday soon or house move looming please consider whether this is the right time to take on a new pet. Having worked in veterinary practices I have seen some horrific sights of cats being used as bait, even strapped to fireworks etc Therefore I have put a higher price to ensure their safety and I will not adjust that. It will confirm to me that the prospective new owner genuinely wishes to love them unconditionally. The money will go into my current rescues that are permanent residents and towards further equipment to aid in the rescue work I do for animals and wildlife ( I am part of 2 wildlife groups covering my area for all forms but specifically foxes and badgers) I also go out overnight to collect sadly deceased cats , scan for microchips and reunite with owners so I hope all of the above confirms how much compassion I have for animals especially these angels. Never did I want money for them hence why I've kept many this long, however the rescue that is helping me is overflowing, as are most and I feel it’s time to brave letting some move on to wonderful homes. The RSPCA have offered to help but I really would like them to go from home to home , not into a cattery for a long period of time. They could also only help with 4 which as much as I am extremely grateful, I’m apprehensive hence why I have come to the point of advertising on here. Allowing animals to go for free can prove catastrophic for the animal and therefore this is again why I have asked for a higher price to ensure their safety. Viewings are welcome and can be arranged. Ideally after 6pm weekdays and after 4pm weekends I’ve never used this site before so I need to clarify how the transfer of payment works but preferably the Pets4homes payment method they offer or bank transfer so there is a trail for yourself and I as form of proof/receipt Please feel free to ask any questions
