BUFFY is a delicate and soft-hearted girl, around 4.5–5 years old, medium-sized, with the calmest spirit and an enormous heart. She is a loyal and affectionate companion who simply wants to be close to her trusted person, curled up in a sunny spot, finally safe and at peace.
She is already in the UK and spent the last month in a wonderful foster-to-adopt home. Sadly, despite falling in love with her, the family had to make the heartbreaking decision to look for another home for Buffy, as visiting young children were causing her huge distress. She never shows aggression—but hides, shakes, and takes a long time to recover after visits. Her family wants her to live in peace, without fear.

BUFFY and her best friend Rusita once lived on the grounds of a factory, cared for by kind workers. But when a new director arrived, they were ordered to be removed—or killed. Thankfully, volunteers stepped in just in time and took them both to safety. After waiting patiently, Buffy finally arrived to the UK—where her journey to healing continues.

“Buffy is blossoming into an amazing dog. She is kind and gentle, fully house-trained, picks up commands easily, and is a joy to walk on the lead. She’s not a barker, doesn’t chew, has great recall (except for rabbits!), and settles beautifully.
She’s fine with noise, household appliances, traffic, and being left alone for a few hours. She loves relaxing in sunny spots, collects her toys into a pile, and is slowly showing a cheeky, playful side.
But she’s absolutely terrified of young children—no aggression, just shuts down and shakes. It breaks our heart to let her go, but she deserves a calm adult home where she can feel safe every day. She’s a fabulous girl, and we’ll miss her so much.”
