Description

Dexter is 2 years old stunning Shiba Inu with the one of the best typical shiba personality and is hilarious love walks knows some trick and will do anything for a treat however he can be a very stubborn dog and the reason for us having to sell him is he can be quite reactive although his behaviour has been improving he is 90% good most of the time. Absolutely loves fuss and attention and loves a brush. Currently being raw feed and has been neutered vaccinated and recently had a booster (not kennel cough) and microchipped. He is a very affectionate dog and is used to being around people all day long and loves a routine. He just show abit of food aggression and due to having cats and other small dogs around dexter has become alittle unpredictable. We would love to keep him but due to the cats being old and are becoming stressed we can’t keep him anymore. After 2 years he still keeps trying to chase them. We think he would benefit from living with a single person as he does get on well with other dogs but because he is quite strong and love to play tug a war and I feel like his reactive issues and food aggression will go as he only shows aggression to dogs . Wouldn’t recommend him to a person with other animals like cats and other small dogs and he has never been round kids so I wouldn’t recommend probably teenagers and above Most importantly he needs someone with experience that can train him a little more and understand how Shibas are. Would recommend coming over and viewing him and him getting used to you abit as he can be shy and seems abit nervous at first. This is a hard decision but I do believe he could be happier if he didn’t have to be getting told off for chasing the cats and being more of the centre of attention Message me if interested
