Description

Blue is an 11 month old border collie. He has not been neutered. Crate trained for night times. Please read all- Previously blues last owner got him from a farm as a puppy however they haven’t walked him much which we were not aware of. We bought him a month ago, unaware of this. He does pull on lead if not wearing a grout collar, and he is reactive with other dogs however He has had 1 session with a behaviourist which he is getting better for. In the house he is the most lovely dog ever. He has been brought up around children and my 1 year old can do anything with him. Blue knows sit, paw, spin, lie down and stands up on his back legs for a treat. I’ve had him off lead a few times now when no dogs have been around and he loves it and comes back when asked. He doesn’t pull with his grot collar on, which will come with him. He can be reactive if other dogs bark first which he is getting better for. I had the intention of taking him hiking with me and my little boy and partner but following a recent split up, and unable to take my little boy and blue out together by myself I’ve been left with no other option. I can’t fault him in anyway, other than towards other dogs. I feel maybe farm life or someone with land and no other dogs would be a big benefit in his life. He could be introduced to other dogs however this would be up to his new owners.
