Ozzy is a girl, she’s around 18 months old. She enjoys free time out her cage & is content with calm dogs & calm unbothered cats being in the room whilst she does so. But will not leave her cage unless people are seated or away from her cage.
Ozzy is wild, sadly we were told that she was on a correct diet, but she wasn’t. It has taken myself almost a year to get her to eat a variety of foods other than just budgie seed. We have had Ozzy almost a year now. She is wild. Sadly I feel the time has come for Ozzy to be rehomed with other Ringnecks who will show her how to bathe. I was hoping that she would pick this up by my now & feel at ease, but since she is wild & had a not so good start by previous owners. She may be better suited in an aviary. She will fly away & avoid you if you come too close. She eats nuts & fruit & vegetables now which has been my main focus.
If you feel you can offer her the home she fully deserves please call. She needs someone who is experienced with wild birds/Ringnecks.
New owner will need to bear in mind she was rescued from Birds4U & she may never be hand tame.
