Chunky and placid
Shih Poos make a fantastic family or retirement pet. They are a non-moulting, small breed of dog with the looks and appeal of the popular cockapoo breed but they are smaller. This makes them easier to handle, with slightly less of that flighty energy. They are intelligent, fun, soft-natured and the perfect size for a lap dog with the cutest teddy bear face.
Mum is my own bred Cream Shih Poo and has the loveliest, gentle nature.
Dad is a pedigree Red Toy Poodle and is just a friendly, bundle of fun.
With parentage in mind, some of the pups’ fur may turn lighter as they get older. The black ones certainly all have their Dad’s red tinge to their fur and several are now getting little sandy coloured edges around their ears.
These puppies come to you fully veterinarian health checked, microchipped, flead, wormed and will have had their first vaccinations. They also come with their own baby blankets which have the scent of their mum and the nest on to help them settle in to their new homes. I pride myself on the quality of my breeds and these puppies have had the best start possible. They are used to being handled and they love cuddles. These pups are well socialised with cats, dogs and people so very confident. They spend time enjoying outdoor play, through the day, in their own secure pen and playhouse. They are also regularly bathed and well groomed.
One of the most joyful parts of buying from me is that I create a Puppy Group Chat for all new families of the litter so that you can all keep in touch, arrange meets and share your fun stories, photos and advice. It is really lovely to watch them all grow up and share the special moments with your puppy family.
