Bolt is described by his foster as:
The sweetest natured most handsome boy! With patience and love, he is growing to be a very affectionate boy with lots of personality. He loves a tummy rub and a scratch behind his ears at every opportunity!
He is an absolute angel on lead walks and he never pulls…just likes to stop and sniff! He is most confident in the garden and likes being outside best! He just trots along by my side
and loves to help out with gardening tasks!
He has done really well with house training and doesn't have accidents indoors. We have started recall training and he is responding well, even with some distractions around (other dogs, chickens, road noises).
He is brilliant with other dogs and lives with a lively border collie. Bolt is so gentle & plays lovingly. We don't have a cat but he is happy with free range chickens (and a cockerel!)
Bolt is fine to be left at home for a few hours and usually just curls up in a quiet corner of the house, particularly enjoying a sun trap when available!
Due to his slightly nervous nature, I believe he would be better suited to a home with older children / adults as sudden movements and noises can still spook him a bit.
