✨🐀 Meet the Fellowship: Sammy, Frodo, Merry, and Pippin 🐀✨
These four charming senior rats are looking for a loving new home to spend their retirement years. They're all approximately 20 months old and originally from Jollyes. They have been socialized in a busy home environment, getting along with our Chihuahua and our four-year-old son.
Sammy is the kindest of the group and has never bitten. She's a sweet, gentle soul who loves to burrow in your clothes and run around on the sofa.
Frodo is the most adventurous. She'll be out of the cage the moment the door opens, so you'll need to keep a close eye on her! She's also a big foodie and loves to be the first to inspect any new treat. Frodo had a few isolated nipping incidents a while ago, but this hasn't happened in a long time.
Merry and Pippin are the shyer members of the group. They take a little more time to warm up but are very curious and will eventually come out to see what's happening. Merry is the more inquisitive of the two, while Pippin is a bit of a lazy bum! They are both prone to nipping, which is a common trait in more timid rats.
We are looking to rehome these wonderful girls for two reasons. We're taking on a senior cat, and it wouldn't be fair to either the rats or the cat to have them in the same home. Additionally, as we don't plan to get any more rats, we don't want any of them left on their own when the time eventually comes 🌈 as they are such social creatures.
The girls will come with their full cage and set-up (cage details in pictures), so everything they need to settle into their new home is included.
These girls would be a perfect fit for someone with an established mischief, or someone that plans to add more rats eventually, who understands rat behavior and is ready to give them a cozy, loving place to live out their golden years. Please get in touch if you think you could offer them a suitable home.
We're asking for a rehoming fee of £60 or most reasonable offer to ensure they go to a committed home and to help cover the cost of the set-up.
