Description

It is with very heavy heart that we have to rehome this beautiful black & tan, short haired daschund called Harley. She is KC Registered, fully vaccinated, wormed & flead and she has also been spayed. She is our daughter’s little dog, and with a third baby on the way; she is struggling to find the time to look after her. She is a lovely little dog and socialised with children & other dogs. She will come with all the accessories: bowls, bedding and all the relevant paperwork. Collect from Lincoln. LN1.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
