Description
We are thrilled to announce a beautifully bred, premium litter of Standard Wire-Haired Dachshund (Teckel) puppies. Sired by our fully proven, gamekeeper-reared wild boar dapple dog, Morris, and out of our exceptional dam, Mable, this litter represents the absolute pinnacle of traditional European working lines. Please note that while both parents come from pure, exceptional lines, these puppies are not Kennel Club (KC) registered.
The beautiful dapple markings carried by this litter have a rich history. Far from being a modern trend, the dapple pattern dates back to the breed’s 16th and 17th-century German origins. Early gamekeepers and hunters highly prized this broken-coat camouflage for field work, and the pattern was formally documented in historic hunting texts as early as 1719. Sired by Morris, a stunning wild boar dapple, these puppies carry on a proud, centuries-old working heritage.
As a 5-star council-licenced breeder operating from vet-approved breeding kennels, we pride ourselves on raising exceptional puppies with zero compromise on health, welfare, and early socialization. These puppies carry phenomenal hunting instincts, strong bone structure, and the signature bold, confident Teckel character.
Parents:
• Dam (Mother): Mable, an exceptional Siberian import from top-tier, pure European working bloodlines. She is an outstanding example of the breed with a harsh, protective coat, incredible drive, and a highly biddable nature.
• Sire (Father): Morris, our fully proven standard wild boar dapple dog. He is gamekeeper-reared, a first-class, highly efficient ratter, and boasts a textbook dense, medium-wired coat.
Health & Professional Standards:
Because we are fully licenced and vet-approved, you can buy with total confidence. Before being sent to their new 5-star homes, all puppies will be:
• Fully health checked by our veterinarian
• Microchipped
• Up-to-date with first vaccinations
• Wormed and flea-treated to date
• Sent to new homes with full breeder support
Available Puppies (7 in total):
• 5 Girls (Mix of Wild Boar / Wild Boar Dapple)
• 2 Boys (Mix of Wild Boar / Wild Boar Dapple)
A non-refundable deposit secures your chosen puppy. Viewings are warmly welcomed at our licenced kennels by appointment, where you can meet the puppies alongside Mable.

Pros
Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained
Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
