This lovely boy was abandoned in a busy town, by some ruthless individual(s). Some fellow rescuers took him to the communal shelter, as they had no availability to foster him… But, when they saw the horrible conditions there (a couple of pics - attached), where more than 200 dogs are being lodged, our friends asked our help to find a proper home for CHESTNUT. The problem is that we haven’t got any available place here, either - so we agreed with them to foster him temporarily until we found somebody very interested and then we’ll bring him to Nottingham or straight to the adopting family.
CHESTNUT was micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. We’ve had him neutered, too.
Our lovely boy weighs around 23 Kg.
CHESTNUT is friendly with everybody - people and other dogs. He is very gentle and affectionate ; too soft, somebody was saying. We can also test him with cats - if required ; we are sure he’d be all right with them.
He would make a wonderful addition to a doggy loving family !

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be !
Should you adopt him, CHESTNUT will reside as a PET in your Home and he will be well looked-after and loved !
You will also agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go. If you would like, we can have a video-chat so you can see CHESTNUT live, before meeting him.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We are actively involved in neutering stray dogs and in finding Homes for them.
We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs !
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide very good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
Therefore, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
