Hi all! I’m not sure if this post will get approved but i’m in a very desperate situation. My mum has terminal cancer and i will most likely be adopting my little sisters (5 and 7) when the time comes. She is approximately 5 years old, i’m not sure exactly as she was rescued. She is vaccinated, spayed etc up to date. She has lived indoors and outdoors and is litter trained to use a cat litter box with hay. Sadly her bun sister died recently, i have taken them to the vets and everything seems fine so we are not sure exactly however my other rabbit was (i believe 7 maybe older). My new rabbit has not been herself and had lost some weight but with some vet trips, blood tests etc they said she seems completely so she is slowly gaining some weight back but i’m scared of her being so lonely now without her friend and she definitely hasn’t been herself. With the stress of my mum and family i think it would be too much right now for me to go through finding a rabbit to get vaccinated and then spayed and wait all that time to then bond- she really needs a friend right now. She is a submissive bun and i never had a problem with bonding her to my previous rabbit. Literally took two days with out any fighting. Ideally i would like to maybe find her a new home so she can be bonded to a bun straight away if anyone was looking for/knew someone with a spayed/neutered rabbit that needed a friend. She is such a lovely girl and means so much to me i hate seeing her lonely and my families situation has taken a huge toll on me right now but obviously i wouldn’t have got her to not do as much as i can for her im just at a loss right now. She is the black and white bun with lop ears in the picture. I am not looking to sell her i just want to know she is going to a good home :’) xx
