Meet Ziggy – Our Brave Little Moroccan Beldi Adventurer Looking for His Forever Home!
He truly has a heart as big as his journey! ❤️
We first found Ziggy 5 months ago as a tiny stray pup on the beach in Morocco while on holiday. He was all alone but full of personality — gentle eyes, waggy tail, and a spark that told us he deserved a chance.
We couldn’t leave him and wanted to help him so we took him to the vet to get help. They explained that he needed long term treatment and someone to care for him (we was going home in 2 days) we contacted rescues and explained that we’d pay for his care etc but they was all full so our only other option was for him to stay safely at a boarding ranch who would give him the medication and care he needed and complete his quarantine, vaccines and Relevant rabies tests with the vet.
After months of care and paperwork, Ziggy made the incredible trip from Morocco to the UK — travelling by plane, train, and even the Channel Tunnel!
Now he’s here, happy, healthy, and ready to find his perfect home.
Ziggy is the definition of a true “beldi” Moroccan dog — smart, streetwise, loyal, and full of character. These dogs are known for being incredibly adaptable, clever, and deeply bonded to their people once they trust you. They make amazing companions for someone who appreciates a soulful, one-of-a-kind dog. 🐕💫
Ziggy loves other dogs out and about and is playful and friendly, but unfortunately, our two resident dogs prefer to be the only ones in the house, and are a little spicy with other dogs so it’s time for Ziggy to find a home where he can shine on his own (or with other friendly dogs who’d welcome him!).
He’s still a young dog at only 7/8months old with so much potential. Ziggy can sometimes guard his food or toys — understandable after his start in life — but with consistency and positive training, this is something he’ll easily grow out of. He’s bright, eager to please, and already learning fast.
He is happy to be left home for a few hours at a time and sleeps well at night in his crate usually from 8pm until 7am.
He’s now fully house trained 👏
I wouldn’t advice any cats in the household (we have one and they have being kept separate)
And no children due to his size and playful behaviour. He gets very excited to see children and wants to jump all over them and steal whatever it is they’re eating 😂
He’s almost perfected recall unless he sees another dog then he wants to play!
but luckily due to Ziggy being food driven he’s pretty tempted with a high quality treat.
He’s a very bright boy.
Ziggy will make an amazing, loyal companion for someone who enjoys walks, adventures, and a dog that truly loves with his whole heart. ❤️
He also has a european passport so would make the best travel buddy!

We are asking for a payment for serious families but this will be then donated to a Moroccan dog rescue and proof will be provided 😊
