We are looking for a new, loving home for our gorgeous British Shorthair, Misty. She is a 2.5-year-old blue (grey) female, neutered, microchipped, and up to date with all vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
Misty has a calm, affectionate temperament and is fantastic with children – we have a baby and a toddler, and she is always gentle and sociable around them and their friends. She enjoys being around people but also has a playful side, especially when chasing her toy mouse around the house.
She currently has access to the outdoors via a catflap but would also be happy as an indoor-only cat. She is fully litter trained, although does not use a litter tray at the moment as she goes outside.
Misty sleeps downstairs in our home and does not go upstairs, but I am sure she would happily snuggle up in bed with you if that is what you prefer.
This is a very difficult decision for us, but with a busy household and young children, we have realised we are not able to give her the attention she deserves. We are looking for a caring home where she will receive plenty of love and time.
We will also include the following items to help her settle into her new home:

- Remainder of her current food and the storage container
- Remaining flea and worming tablets
- A selection of her toys
- Pet carrier
We are committed to finding the best possible home for Misty and will only rehome her to the right family.
