THIS IS AN HONEST ACCOUNT OF RALPH.
This is Ralph. I bought him in January this year from this site.
Ralph is a lovely dog but I was not given a realistic version of him, I took him on as a family pet and was unaware of the issues he had and bought him under false pretences.
Ralph had a full vet check in January and I was told by the vet he appears to have had a traumatic start to life. He was underweight, had scars and no medical records not microchipped and so nervous and anxious.
Ralph was given full vaccinations, microchipped and has since put weight on and is very happy around me and my two younger girls aged 7 and 8 but not my teenage boy age 16.
Ralph is so territorial I am unable to have any visitors into the house, he attempts to bite my 16 year old son daily, he barks at the tiniest of sounds waking my younger children several times a night, he chews my children’s toys and urinates on furniture on a regular basis.
All of these behaviours are understandable due to his upbringing previous to me and my family and I feel terrible I am having to rehome him but after 6 months of trying to support Ralph with training and positive behaviours it has took a very big toll on my family life and I feel I can no longer manage. I am very upset about it and my younger children will be too but I have to consider my other child’s safety.
