Description

Hi, My name is Lilibet, and I’m a tortoiseshell cat. My mum and dad are urgently trying to find me a suitable home that can meet my needs. Sadly, local charities are unable to help, and my parents are desperate to find me the right home—one that won’t result in the heartbreaking decision of having to euthanise me. I have chronic inflammatory bowel disease and require Prednisone 5mg every other day to manage my inflammation. Thankfully, I’m currently stable. I also need a special diet prescribed by my specialist: Hills Biome Cat Food. I’ve had one of my kidneys removed after an ultrasound showed it was diseased and couldn’t be saved. However, this doesn’t impact my daily life—I’ve adapted very well and my remaining kidney has likely been compensating all along. Rehoming me has proven to be quite difficult due to my health needs. I was a very poorly kitten and had multiple hospital stays, tests, and even visits to a specialist vet in London. My owners have done everything they possibly can for me. Unfortunately, my behaviour toward the other cats in the home is worsening, despite various interventions. I tend to block, chase, and pounce on them. I need a home where I can be the only cat. I’m fine around dogs—I’ve always lived with one. My mum and dad have ensured that I am: • Fully vaccinated • Microchipped • Flea and worm treated (with veterinary prescription medication) • Insured with PetPlan under a “Covered for Life” policy, which can be transferred to my new owner. As long as you continue the monthly direct debit and pay the £85 excess per new condition, I’ll always be covered for any health problems mum and dad encourage you do this to keep me safe and healthy. Thank you Lilibet
