Bought from a reputable breeder with all paperwork to pass onto new owner. He has been raised with children from a kitten and another British shorthair, due to a house move we are downsizing considerably and feel it unfair to expect him to live in such a small home with another more dominant cat. He is neutered. He would be best suited to a family with young children as its home from home for him. He is a sensitive boy and timid at first. However he is much more cuddly in nature than our other cat and very friendly, adores fuss but I expect it'll take him time to settle. We have taken him on three house moves, so he's been through 4 in total in his short life and he will hide for around a week before you see him popping up at night time so that's quite normal for him until he has settled in. He is a lap cat, he doesn't mind being picked up (once trust is gained) and he is fully litter trained and uses a scratch post (not furniture) he knows his name as Bon Bon - and he is registered pedigree with the Governing council of the cat fancy as RiaHilfi Bonnaux - pronounced Bonno! He's a big boy and still has a little filling out to do. I viewed his mother when purchased and he's come from excellent breeders. We have had no problems with this gentle boy and this is really difficult for me, but I know he deserves a more settled life to which he can be king of the castle.
