Description
Beautiful older lady, Upsy, finds herself in rescue at 8-years old. She is sad to find herself in this situation and really does need to be in a loving home, with experienced cat people, who will give her time, space and lots of TLC.
Upsy has shown no bad temper or aggression in her foster home but neither has she shown any desire for a fuss!! She does purr when her fosterers are with her but, as soon as they stroke her, she runs off and settles nearby š». The only time she seems to enjoy being stroked is when she is eating š². She does like her food! . If her fosterers stroke her spine, whilst she chomps and then stop the stroking, she meows and complains, until stroking resumes! Once she has finished eating, she wants to sit near to her fosterers but not be touched . Even so, she is a sweet girl, with no nastiness in her.
As already said, Upsy needs an experienced home, with people who are happy to allow her to have space and time, whilst always reinforcing that she is loved. Upsy needs to give and receive affection on her own terms. It is also important that her adopter realises that any cat or kitten, takes time to settle in a home. Itās a big step finding their forever home š¾
Upsy is in foster on Wirral and has been neutered, chipped, parasite treated and has had her first vaccination. She needs a quiet home, as an only pet and with any children aged 15-years+.
