Description
Gorgeous and loving kitten.
We took this kitten on very recently from friends, in the hope that it would be a companion to our older cat. Unfortunately, our older cat can’t accept having a kitten in the house, and have had to keep them separate. We’d hoped it was to be company for him after losing his best friend that he grew up with recently. Our older cat is an indoor cat, (due to the past few years of health complications of our other cat of the same age that we recently lost) and the plan for the kitten was to be an indoor cat with him, but kitten is a busy and healthy character, and it seems unfair to have to keep it in for the rest of its life. Managing an indoor and outdoor cat in the same household is not practical, nor possible for us. So it is with the deepest regret, after taking him on from friends who’s cats had a litter of 5, and us having him a short while, that we now realise that we have made a mistake for our 13 year old, who has become extremely stressed by his presence, subsequently had a ‘funny turn’, had to see the vet, and the vet advising us that it was stress from the introduction of a kitten in the household. Our old cat is a very sensitive old boy.
Kitten is very playful, purrs away when stroked, and is developing into an adorable character. He’s completely house trained, and is a very good boy, always using his litter tray. He is very healthy and has a very healthy appetite, and comes with kitten food that we’ve bought for him. He will also come with a lot of play toys that we have bought him, so that they are familiar to him, which will help him settle.
Kitten has very striking markings, being a black and silver tabby, with a spotty tummy that he loves to have tickled. He has a lot of energy, needs a lot of playful interaction, (granddaughter loves playing with him) is a loving and engaging character, and needs a good and loving home, away from a busy road, ideally rural where he can roam at will, once old enough to venture out.
He’s 11/12 weeks old.
He will be deeply missed, as we have really bonded with him, but we must consider our older cat. So to find a good, caring and safe home is of paramount importance to us.
