Barney is a very handsome and loving Labrador. He looks yellow on our pictures but is a true fox red.
He is 17 months old and is in foster care due to a change in his owners circumstances, no fault of his own.
He is your typical loving Labrador, very affectionate and wants to be everyone’s friend.
He loves to go for a walk. He can pull a little to start but this is improving and he is quick to learn.
He is living in in a foster home. He is fully housetrained
He is a very kind dog, he is living in a foster home with children 10 and 12.
He would love a home with an active person or couple who wanted a loving companion to join them for walks. He is a young Labrador and whilst he doesn’t jump up and is pretty well behaved Labradors are a breed that need regular exercise and a garden to play in.
He is good with the other dogs that he’s met and he is living with 2 dogs in his foster home. We can cat test if required.
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
