It absolutely breaks our hearts to even write this, but with very heavy hearts we are looking for a new home for our beautiful boy, Benji. He is a 2-year-old flat coat ginger cockapoo, full of energy, love, and life. Benji adores playing fetch, spending time outdoors, and is always happiest when he’s on the go. He is affectionate, house-trained, brilliant with other animals, and has the sweetest nature. The only thing he likes to keep to himself are his toys, which he treats as his treasures.Since welcoming a new baby into our family, we’ve found it increasingly difficult to give Benji the time, exercise, and attention he truly deserves. We’ve worked with trainers and tried our best, but he is still very excitable on the lead, and with our new commitments, we simply can’t meet his needs. This decision is beyond heartbreaking for us—we love him dearly, and letting him go is incredibly painful. But keeping him when we know he isn’t getting the life he needs would be selfish.Benji is much more like a working cocker spaniel than a cockapoo in terms of energy levels. He is a high-maintenance, energetic boy who needs plenty of exercise, stimulation, and companionship to thrive. For this reason, we are only looking to rehome him with someone who has lots of spare time—ideally someone with access to a large field or land, or who’s retired who can give him the space and attention he deserves, but also has the energy to keep up with his high energy. He would not be suited to a home with children under 6 years old.Please know we will only consider homes where Benji will be a loved and valued member of the family and not treated as anything less than he is. He is such a special boy, and we are desperate to find him the perfect forever home with people who will love him as deeply as we do.If you feel you can truly give Benji the life he deserves, please message with genuine intentions
