We are very sadly looking to re-home our 15 month old Labrador, Sonny. Sonny is a beautiful, loving boy who enjoys lots of love and attention. He is bouncy and playful, enjoys long walks and wants everyone to be his best friend. Sonny enjoys socialising with other dogs, however he forgets his size and would be better suited to play alongside a dog of similar size and nature due to lots of energy. Sonny has lived with children 5 and above, who he is fantastic with. Due to being bouncy, he has not spent alot of time with very young children/babies so cannot be sure how he would be. Sonny loves routine, he knows his basic commands like sit, paw, wait etc. His recall is not always the best, especially if there is another dog who he seems eager to play with. Sonny is also crate trained, he relies on his crate for "down time" and uses it overnight too. Sonny is not neutured yet, however the vet recommended to be neutured at 18 months+ due to him still growing. We believe Sonny needs a home where his owners can give him much more time and attention, plus he needs a home with a large garden and maybe even a friend of a similar size and nature (he can be a pest for older dogs who cannot match his energy). We are very heartbroken to consider re-homing Sonny, we will only consider a home which we believe would be suitable and have his best interests at heart. He deserves the very best.
